I cannot boot with the power and disk eject pressed at the same time. The screen will be blank and then eventually I get a solid amber light on the eject button. I had problems with the initial flash. I had to set my switches to off on off off off in order to get the flash screen when the x3 chip was enabled. I ended flashing the primary with x3 bios with the switches set to off on off off off and that is how I have it now. So that worked fine but the backup does not. Thanks in advance.

Ok - you have a 1.6b and FlashBIOS 3.0.3 is the only version (of FlashBIOS) that you can boot to.
If you can still boot your X3 BIOS via banks 5678 (off on off off), then go into X3CL and select the option to flash the backup ROM. Use the 256k image of FlashBIOS 3.0.3 that can be downloaded from the main page. Once this is done, you'll be able to use the backup ROM in case you ever hose the working banks.
