Can't boot to orignal dash

There's nothing wrong with the pinheader / voltages.

If you're booting to Evox then your chip is working fine.

What files do you have on your C drive (excl. folders)?

I have a new HD of 120GB. All files that are on C: were copied from the slayer's cd. I copied also MS Dash on C: to be able to boot with mod chip off but it didn't work.
I tried to mod my friends xbox with my HD and it worked without any problems. Now I have the original HD from my friends xbox and have to wait till I get a new modchip to try to repair my xbox. I'll try now to boot my xbox with the original HD and see what it will do.

My box is 1.6 and yes the HDD is locked - its a strange one coz im not 100% sure what files are missing from the root directory - At the mo i just have my Evox dash.xbe, the ini file & my xboxdash.xbe....

seems ok booting from any other dash but booting alone from disabled chip causes errors :?

did you copy ALL the files from your old dashboard to your new C drive?

If not, then you need to!
