I recently got my Xbox chipped with a Xecuter 2.6CE Chip and Evolution X Dashboard. The guy who installed the chip was very professional so everything is working very nicely. but the only thing i cant do is i cant connect to Xbox live . whenever i try to connect to xbox live i get error message. and then when i go into troubleshoot it does all the testing etc then after few mins it gives me msg that IP not resolved or something like that. I used to have this problem whenever i had Zone alarm on my computer(Im using ICS with Crossover cable) but when i shut down my zone alaram it used to work fine and i could play all xbox live games etc, but ever since i got my xbox chipped im having this problem. i m having this problem even my zone alarm is shut down on my computer. I can FTP with my computer easily so its not problem with my compute or network card etc. so i think it must be chip. Could someone plz explain me how to fix this problem. and btw I always switch off my chip before i try to connect to xbox live, and there are 4 external switches on my xbox , one is : Chip on / OFF ---- i always keep this one off when trying to connect to xbox , then Bios flash protect/unprotect . allways set to protect then third one is Bank 1/ Bank 2 and is always set to Bank 1 and the fourth and tiny one is small white button with Led on/off . but i have been told by the chip fitter that the tiny switch behind those 3 turns the LEDs on/off but the markings are incorrect! when it is on it is off & vice versa . So could someone plz explain how to fix this problem.
