LITEON DG-16D4S - SLIM Can't Detect drive in jungleflasher . DG 16D4S

Hi i can't detect my drive in jungleflasher . only i can put him in vendor mode. I tried to liteon erase with the original firmware and my key as source but when i click liteon erase this comes up . IT's an DG 16D4S 0225 drive

What method have you used to unlock the drive

I used the sputnik 360 chip

So i gathr it has an mxic chip onit, can you show a pic of what you have selected on the firmware page.

Your first pic with the error says that lt is target but this pic you have just posted shows you have selected stock firmware i am a bit confused. Looks like there is a mix up withe the target firmware

Yea i selected the stock firmware for the liteon erase . that has to doens't it ? What else should i select in case not ( the flashed firmware ) ?

If you are planning to write lt firmware then that should be the target, this would have been offered automatically when you loaded the source firmware.

You need to follow the jungle flasher to the letter a common mistake is not switching the unlock switch back after the drive is unlocked.

Yes i know that if i want to flash that i have to select the lt flashed firmware but i can't write because it gets always stuck at writing bank 0. . But also my problem is that i can't detect the drive anymore , i can only put it in vendor mode so i want to restore to original firmware first , if that would help ofcourse ?

And i also have to mention this : few weeks ago i was following the jungleflasher tutorial to flash my drive without knowing that i needed the sputnik i didn't understand much of it so i started doing things without unlocking it . Then after i got the sputnik i tried somethings but it always got stuck at writing bank 0 . so i maybe tought there was something wrong with the drive . That's why i want to restore it back to normal and then flash it

Did you cut the trace? It does not look like it in the pic.

Also looks like there may be some solder bridging by the tx logo on the switch I would clean up some of that solder


Can you post jungle flassher log as well

I don't think there's something wrong with the sputnik because i heard the dual tone beep when turning of write protection . Here is a clearer pic to see the cut :

From the pictures it doesn't look like you cut the trace. If you did grab a multimeter and test the switch.
