Cant Disable Chip

i have a v1.0 xbox w/ x3 it works fine but i cant disable it and everytime i press the open tray button the xbox shutts off i alredy checked all the cables and the soldering can somebody please help me

have you had a look at the back of the x3's power/eject PCB as i heard that some had bad solder joints from factory (easy fix).

to boot with chip disabled you have to press the POWER button long.
not the eject button

lol yes.. it aint that hard.. mod on- quick press of power button.. mod off-hold power button for until it turns on and it is red.. red means disabled.
