can't download bios

why can't i download the bios file ?
it's in rar, but opens on internet page like a text, can't understand?

can anyone give me please the latest bios file for xecuter3 on v1.6b thx

after I soldered and installed the x3 chip, if i start the xbox with quick press the chip will show blue light
but can't see picture on the tv why ? :S

is that because i havn't flash it?

It might mean that you have the wrong bios booted. The chip comes with two

3.0.1 and 3.0.3.

Depending on your xbox version different ones work.

Just change your switch settings from on, on, off, off to off, on, off, off to switch from 3.0.1 to 3.0.3.

Also just because the chip is blue doesn't mean that the xbox might not be screwed up. What's the eject light doing?

oh... solid orange is bad ju-ju...

It might mean that you have an AV problem... as in audio visual.

Do a search on solid orange or solid amber to check this out. You might want to start thinking about opening your xbox back up and troubleshooting it.

Does it boot disabled ok? If that's the case then your still ok.

Amber is another word for orange...

What are your switch settings exactly?

Flashing orange sould mean bad bios and with the xbox booting disabled then that's probably the problem.

What version xbox do you have?

1.0? 1.6b?

More than likely...

Do you have a friend with a chip you can swap out and see if that works?
