The ms dash boots fine when the mod is disables. The latest X3 bios flashes fine. I can boot to a xbe on a DVD-R. I can't boot to the ms dash on the HD or get into config live (even if I press the white button). It just sits there with the xbox logo and the xecuter rox my box. Whats wrong?
Can't enter configlive or dash, but can play games.

try holding the white btn while u power up the box and do not release till u get somewhere and the M$dash is not going to load if the x3 is enabled

I have the same problem. I have a v1.6.
I havn't tried any other BIOS yet, but it might be my only option
soon. By the way, do you also have problem with the external
dip switch panel? By XBOX is completly dead if I have it attached.
The blue led will flash on the chip when I press the power or eject button but it will not boot at all. (No fan spinning or HD power-up)
Without the panel everything seems to work. I can boot up the Backup FlashBIOS v3.00 and boot into the MSDASH. When I try to boot the X3 it hangs when the "Rocks my box" splash is displayed. I've tried to press
all kinds of keys on my controller, but nothing happens. I'm feeling a bit stuck.. I'm also using the original ms hd. I've tried to flash the X3 3 times using the http method described, and I get the same result every time.
The flashing completes and the xbox shuts down as described, but the X3 stalls... Please help!!

will the white button trick get you to the chips bios screen?? or is there something eles that needs to be done?

I got mine to work. I just reflashed it (again) with the http method.
Now it boots up into the X3 Config Live. I don't understand why this
happened. The 1959 Bios was flashed successfully every time before, but
it didn't work. Somehow it worked this time. I don't think I will ever
flash it again

Using one healthy unbanned xbox, apparently we can reverse the ban ? Is this true, confirmed or a rumor?

if you do, xbox can detect the modded firmware and you will get banned again from what i have read..
