i have a 1.6 xbox with an xecuter 3 chip installed. i flashed the x3 1959 bios and am now trying to use the built in ftp server in the bios. i am using flashFXP. i set the ip on my computer to 192.168.0.33 and the ip on the xbox is set to 192.168.0.2. the subnets are both 255.255.255.0. when i link them up with the crossover cable, the bottom right of the x3 bios screen says 0.0.0.0 Err X. Does anyone know what this means. i have disabled firewall on my pc. when i try to connect with flashfxp is just says connection refused. any idea?

Good time or no?
I have a friend who know a guy that great at this type of thing and hes going to flash my drive for me. i have a samsung drive and i here there pretty safe to play games on, i will play the games online as this is just an extra xbox, but the main question is, is now a good time to mod it or no?If new firmware comes out im not going to ask him to update for me because im happy hes doing it for free.. is it safe to do it now or should i wait?
