Having your console modded is the whole point to being able to play backups. Talk of downloading games and playing them on your console is frowned upon on this site, so be careful what you say. As long as you own the original game, then you are legally allowed to own 1 backup copy. When burning your game, you need dual layer discs, regular dvds aren't big enough to store all the data needed to play the game.
Things you need
1) Dual layer discs (DVD+R DL)
2) .ISO or .000 image of game
3) Abgx
4) imgburn
You need to run abgx and open the iso file, patch the iso and then burn the .dvd file thats left behind after abgx has finished. The disc must be burned at 2.4x
This is a VERY rough guide and there are better ones on this site that explain EVERYTHING you need to know. Good Luck.
