Sorry. It can't find LTPlus-0251-v3.0.bin. It seems that the firmware folder is empty

Got my usbpro v2 today. Got to here...

But then when I click Yes to auto-load Liteon iXtreme I get this..

The Dummy.bin is in the firmware folder but it appears to be empty otherwise.

What am I doing wrong?

For a start we cannot see your pics

Have you downloaded he firmware packs and put them in the firmware folder.

Your dummy.bin does not have to be in the firmware folder best to put in folders using the console serial number as id for future ref.

You're not reading ANYTHING.

You're also the person complaining earlier about how noobs are treated.

Open the JF Manual and read it.

PLEASE STOP SAYING THAT I HAVEN'T READ ANYTHING! I bought the usbpro, installed the win7 64 drivers, read the tutorial for the switch positions and extracted the key. I read the JF tutorial/manual more than once and have had it open on my desktop all day. I followed the tutorial on this site.http://www.team-xecuter.com/forums/showthread.php?t=66257 to the letter after almost memorizing it. There was never any mention of a separate download for firmware either in the tutorial or in the JF manual. If so, please show me where it makes mention of that anywhere. If there is a link, why wouldn't you just provide it? I can't find it on the JF site , here or on Google.

I even re-downloaded JF and the firmware folder is empty. Can't you just help me out and tell me where to find the firmware?

I'm sorry my images aren't showing up. I could see them when I previewed the post. I can try another image site but I don't know that its necessary now that the issue seems to be an empty firmware folder.

Contents of download including the firmware folder that is empty.

This is not mentioned in the tutorial for obvious reasons.

But a simple google search of "cannot open file in jungleflasher" would of gave you the answer right away instead of making a big stink about it.

See what we mean about noobs not researching?

Or even better yet, taken directly from the JF Tutorial that comes with the software, which you said you read more then once??? :

"

Thanks. It all worked without a hitch. Since the firmware thing wasn't mentioned in the tutorial the JF manual made it seem that this was something relevant to Hitachi drives.

4 years of college and 4 years of med school and 3 grown children and I'm still an idiot.

I'm going to have to do a you tube tutorial "Flashing for Dummies" which i guess is a step below n00bs. Naturally it will say to buy your products as they work like a charm as long as you have all of the info. I still think a simple line like, "The firmware folder will be empty until you seek out and download the files" is needed. They are on the iXtreme site. Still don't understand why when I said that the firmware folder was empty that somebody just didn't say that the firmware folder is always empty and to go out and find the files. That's all it took.

Thanks again, and sorry for being so......excitable.

There's no need for a dummies guide.

You just need to RTFM. Muchose was even to paste the information from the manual that you needed.

Reading is one thing, understanding is another. If you didn't understand something in the JF manual, you should have asked.

It's in the manual as I remember putting it in the manual.

You could have manually loaded it anyway.

This response makes no sense at all. I RTFM and I RTFT. The tutorial makes no mention of the firmware folder being empty. The JF manual makes it seem like that was an issue for Hitachi drives only.

The first line of my post said "the firmware folder seems to be empty". Instead of all the unhelpful ridicule, how about something helpful like, "Yes, that folder is always empty. You need to download them separately".

I'm tired of going round and round on this. I assume that RTFM stands for read the f**king manual, which only further proves my point. I spent my money, bought your products and still I get cursed at. Great customer service. I know you don't understand that, but I assume you are YADAFOC. :cool2:

Thanks for the help.

Gee. Is that so. I must have an unofficial version of the tutorial, version 1.4.4. Page 7.

BEFORE USING JUNGLEFLASHER
You Must Have .net framework installed
.net framework 2.0 or later for Windows XP machines
.net framework 3.5 SP1 on Windows Vista Machines
.net framework is built-into Windows 7 (easy life!)
IF you get a libUSB0.dll error
Copy libUSB0.dll file from its folder, into the same directory as JungleFlasher.exe
You Must
JungleFlasher Firmware Pack (vital for Hitachi Drives)

SO... instead of saying RTFM, i will tell you this. REREAD THE fcukING MANUAL.

jungleflasher isnt a Team Excuter product smart a$$ is a free application and if you simply cant type in google what your looking for im sure you can always pay some1 to flash your drive.if you have ever opened junglasher and clicked on a few tabs there is a button to click and u will see when it loads a link for the firmware pack now im sure u can find that without a map:crazy:

I dont understand how people even have to read the tutorial to understand whats wrong, when the firmware folder contains a place formware here!-file but it contains no formware. Jungle flasher even tells you wich specific file it cant find.
