Can't flash Bios

I installed FlashBios 3.03 on my XBOX, and then it reboot, FlashBios 3.03 appeared on the screen, then I chose Load Bios from HDD, I chose X3 2914 from C:\Bios, but it said, "unknown flash, halting"


then i open my XBOX, and tries to turn the Flash protection off, but then i found that the modchip i am using is Aladdin Advanced plus, there is no turn on/off switch on it at all.

I tried some other method, like burn M8 Bios on a CD, and then inserted into DVD-Rom, and chose Load Bios from Disc, it still didn't work. Now when i turn on XBOX, there is FlashBios 3.03 on the screen, but nothing Ｉ　can do

I want to upgrade my Bios, or return to its default Bios



Could anybody help? and does X3 Bios not suit Aladdin modchip?

you might want to ask this on Aladdin forums for help. I don't use Aladdin and can't give you an answer but I suspect the flash protection on the aladdin is on. You should do some search on their forum on how to turn it off or even X3 bios is compatible with it.

o.k man you are in a mess , there is no way to reflash the aladdin if you flashed it with the flashbios 3.0.3 , it simpy takes all the place (256k) on the chip and the aladdin doesnt know what to do with the information you gave him , you should use a programmer to reflash the aladsin with an evox bios (m8+) or ask someone who has a programmer to do it for you .
you could allso try hot swap but i wouldnt recomend it .

or Aladdin can only use M8+ Bios?
