Hi I have an x3, with 1959 bios and the newest avalaunch. I figured out how to make ava boot up directly but now I can't get back to the bios.

I just want to be able to ftp to my xbox but default and no password is not working. I was able to ftp just fine in the 1959 bios but now I can't get back to it.

Sorry if this has been asked before. I could find anything about this issue.

thanks

It has been asked, but... Hold white right when you power on the xbox and hold it until you see the X3CL screen.

Just turn on your Xbox and from the second it turns on just hold the damn white button. It's inbetween the Right Analog stick and black button.
Oh and by the way, white is the colour you see when you smash your face into a wall.

i have to agree with the last two post...

the words "damn" and "f**king" were really needed to drive that point through.

i have to say that I "apsofucking" agree with both of you.

I guess i'll have to start putting the "hold the white button" back into my sig for people, cause they're too lazzy to read around...

I'm sorry, was that my bad. Maybe I should assume most people, unlike me, don't have a PH.D in common sense.

The slim firmware is currently being developed by C4E and there is no release date given.

The Liteon 9504 is currently in beta testing (as of March 12th 2011) and we hope for it to be released to the public soon.

The Liteon 0225 is not much different than the 9504, however the hardware itself is protected from being written to. Reading the DVD key is no problem as that can be done using tools such as the Xecuter X360USB PRO and Jungle Flasher, but there is no known write method yet - C4E is currently investigating this.

There is an Hitachi 0500 drive that little is known about. There is no news on this at the moment.

The protection on the Slim drives is far more difficult than it ever was on the phats. The drive can now be checked for any changes to its firmware so stealth has become supremely difficult and this is why development has taken so long. That and the fact that C4E has a real life and a job too like most of us so this is all in his spare time, so everyone should be patient.

I hope that answers all your questions regarding the release of slim firmware.
