Booting seems OK, but no matter which way I push the power button and/or the eject button, the logo is always pink and the system boots up in normal mode.
The D0 is triple checked and OK. Is there a problem with any of the other circuitry parts? power-on board etc?

What version of xbox do you have. If its a 1.6 make sure and check your LPC rebuild soldering. Also make sure the pin header or wire install which ever you did has good connections. The front panel is also good to check like previously stated.

hope that helps

Now i finally got it fixed! After triple checking all solder joints, to the point of ripping off the D0 lead (since it didn't boot blue), I found no fault.
In the process of rebuilding the D0 trace on the PCB, I measured the grey lead. Turns out I have a broken lead in the plug that goes onto the X3 board! The lead itself is OK, but the plug was dead (grey wire only). I hotwired the grey and soldered it directly to the X3 PCB and Bob's your uncle!
After countless hours of messing around and measuring, it turned out that a 5 cent plug from TeamExecuter was the culprit! I was so mad I was on the verge of torching the whole thing!

Now, if I could find the bios files... :) (Happy, finally)...
