RGH Cant get falcon to glitch

Hi Guys,

I have managed to install the QSB and read the nand x 2 with no errors/bad blocks. i have created theXell/ecc glitch image. I have flashed the nand and programed the cool runner and installed it. All this was done following Fib3Rs glitch guide. Now i have encountered a problem.

The cool runner lights up and the green LED flashes as it should, although when i am trying to boot in Xell for teh first time i have no picture. The centre console light is also constantly flashing green no other green lights on the front light up.

I can upload some photo's of the soldering if this will help, would this just be done through photo bucket?

its probably your soldering post up some pics and yes you can use photobucket, imageshack, etc. And when you say you have no picture does that mean you have sound or do you have no sound as well?

I had this exact same issue last night/this morning with my Zephyr. After talking with Blakey8 we determined that it seemed that my Zephyr was just unglitchable, as the soldering seemed to be just fine. I'm interested to see if you find a solution.

Generally if the green light on the CR never blinks the CPU Bypass wire is faulty. Check for continuity with a multimeter and make sure it isn't shorting on surrounding components. I swore mine looked fine but MM gave away a short. It's very easy to do.

The issue is that it is flashing green, yet nothing is happening on the xbox(s)

Mine did the exact same thing my soldering was perfect and everything so I was unable to get a solution on here so I installed it on my jasper and it boots in 1-4 glitches. So maybe some falcons can't be glitched?

Thanks for all the help, when i say there is no picture, the tv reports no signal so cant hear any sound either. The xbox doesnt boot properly as the centre green light stays flashing and never goes solid.

Is there one specific solder point that would account for the problem that i can look at, or would all the solder points potentially cause this issue?

You could try soldering a 68nf cap from point A to GND.
I know this is for Jaspers but you never know....:rolleyes2:

As to not waste anyones time, should i be looking at a specific solder point to photo or all of them?

is your dvd drive installed i think the center light just blinks it your dvd drive is not there

does the CR green light ever stop blinking?

Reflow all your points an use flux. Also make sure no wires are shorting or cause interference. My slim was doing the exact same thing after reflowing all points it boots fine.
