Can't get Hitachi 0047 into Mode B...(Slax)

Hi!
First post here, but I haven't found any similar problem:

Ok so I got a Asus A8N-Sli and connect the Hitachi to it via Sata.
Then i boot the Pc using Slax 2.1 and I think everything is ok.
So I press the eject button twice --> 360 drive ejects after 2 push (should be mode b!), the green light anyway is NOT flashing.
Next thing, the drive is found by windows and seems to work fine but I can't flash / restore the firmware...
It keeps telling me, the drive isn't in Mode b
I tried everything, burned Slax 4times with different versions but nothing changes...
I hope you can help me here!

What is the Hitachi drive letter?

Funny, even Slax says, the drive is in Mode b

I have the same drive as yours Hitachi rom ver 0047DJ

and I burn the p_slax2.0_alpha1.iso to a cdrom.

boot the computer with the cdrom and slax starts to run, I turn the xbox 360 on already conected via a sata cable to my PC.


with this Sata card www.svp.co.uk

and after the slax is running with 2 green commands then goes to a black screen and it freezes there.


So I really have no idea what the slax is making the Hitachi on the xbox 360 into mode B.


could u please let me know what steps did you do to turn your Hitachi v0047DJ into mode B
