cant get into mode b via slax 2 disc?

You'll have to give us a bit more info.
What version of the Slax disk are you using?
Are you ejecting the 360 disk tray at the right point in the Slax boot-up sequence?
Are you allowing the Slax disk to get to the end of its process before testing for mode B?
Are you leaving the 360 powered up after trying to get it into mode B?
Have you put the Slax disk in the 360 or a PC?
If you have problems for us to try and work out, generally, the more info you give the better chance you will have of getting an answer....
