Can't get into X3CL with new 3108 BIOS??

BIOS flashed fine. Now when I reboot, it goes into XBMC (my default dash). Even when I hold in the white button on the controller, it still won't go into the BIOS control panel. Any idea why I can't get to X3CL anymore? I'm tempted to downgrade back a version just to see what happens . . .

Is the controller you are using a Microsoft one? It has to be a MS one to work.

Well with an X3 you do have to 1MB banks, so it's easy enough to do.

I am sort of in the same spot, but I think my case was brought on by install woes.
From the get-go I have not been able to get XCL up, no matter which bios I use.
(I imagine it stems from not being able to get a bios to Flash without saying "Programming Failed" and then having to manually turn off.)

Happy Flashing

Never mind. I figured it out. The #2 dipswitch wasn't pushed all the way into the "ON" position. Once that was corrected, the problem went away.

Sorry for the fire drill!

The same thing is happening to me. stock un-modified MS controller, and 3108 won't go into X3CL... Luckily I still have 3029 on the other bank, and that goes into X3CL fine.
