I've installed X3 on xbox 1.1 today everything went ok until I switched the thing on and saw this blue screen, saying bios 3.0.3, so I read throught these forums and flashed the bios from http://www.teamxecuter.com/index.php?name=Forums&file=viewtopic&t=24789 it flashed properly shut down I restarted it and went back to the blue bios screen i've tried flashing the bios it 4 times with the same results, what am i doing wrong any idea's

You need to make sure and get the 1959 bios to install, and that you are not just reflashing with FlashBIOS. You should be able to get this from xbins, and there is a good tutorial at xbox-scene on how to use xbinshttp://www.xbox-scene.com/articles/xbins.php.

I did what pikapben said and downloaded 1959 bios from xbins, but it still went to the blue bios screen

Another Bad Company 2 Problem
Ok, so i flashed my old xbox with a benq with ixtreme 1.6 and backed up my copy of bad co. 2 which worked fine with the activate disc. That xbox got a rrod and ruined my actual copy of BC2. i got an arcade and saw it had a lite on 93450c which was too involved for me so i sent it to someone to have it flashed with LT firmware. i got it back and it works fine with every game except BC2 with which it plays for a while then i start to spawn without a gun and cant fire, no fun online. I have burned 4 copies running it through abgx every way possible, ssv2 and splitvid are good, manually patched the ss and dmi from the verified site, and i still have the same problem. Any ideas?

Bad rip? but why did it work fine with 1.6 on my benq with the activate disc but not with my LT lite on?

what benQ LT are you using and did u spoof the BenQ or not and do other games work fine

Ok, I had a benq which i flashed myself with ixtreme 1.6 and this copy worked fine as long as i used the activate.iso disc but that xbox broke so i got a new one. The new one had a Lite on 93450c and i didn't want to risk flashing it myself so i sent it off to someone else who flashed it with Lite on LT 1.1 for me. Every other game i have works fine, its just BC2; after i play for 10 to 15 minutes i spawn without a weapon and can run around but not shoot or do anything else. Every subsuquent spawn works the same way. As far as spoofing, both drives were for their original consoles so the dvd keys were retrieved and work fine if thats all that spoofing is, sorry im a noob still when it comes to this so im not sure if theres more to it than that. ive had no roblems with other games, i just really want to play BC2 but cant figure it out. Thanks alot for reading this, especially if anyone has any ideas.

Ok, i'm really stumped here. i tried ripping one of my friends copies, the burn went fine(burned 2 copies to make sure), and i still have the same exact problem. it must be something to do with the firmware but its weird because it only effects BC2.

i have since backed up splinter cell with no problems. it runs fine. Im starting to think im out of luck, which really sucks.

This happens to me every now and again on my back up of BCB2 (which I did with an 0800 drive). I think it's perhaps a bug with the online server as when I reload the game it's fine.

Try burning at 4x instead of 2.4x as i've noticed alot of games run at 4x and not 2.4x , my backup of MW2 for instance is like this, tho the original disc was clocked at 2.4x

yea? thats the one thing i havent tried. will that still be ok if i have 2.4x discs or should i buy 4x ones? really hope that works.

When you run IMGburn and you have the disc in check the info box it should say 2.4x 4x so on... i'd say most DL disc are 2.4x 4x compatible, i was aware they came at just 2.4x , give it a go and see what happens, can't be more frustrating than your present situation with it... you never know it may just work out for you

Alright, thanks everyone for your suggestions, but i have found the answer on another site. Well, at least its a solution to my problem, maybe not the answer to th question i was asking. I have found that installing the game to the hard drive makes it run like a dream where as before it would lock up about every 10 mins. I am posting this to let anyone know who may have a similar problem, give this a try!
