Ok, I saw all the posts about the password screwing up everything. I'm stuck and everything I tried doesn't work. I can boot to the backup bois and flash with "on on off off" bank, every other setting justs frags and can't flash. I flashed 3.0.0 three times already, but still can't get pass the rox my box screen. I thought that if you erase the chip and reflash it would remove the password thingy. I can boot every dashboard from cdrw but can't boot it from the c drive. What the hell am I doing wrong? Somebody please help.

You need to read those posts again. Reflashing alone doesn't solve the problem. You have to reflash an old X3 BIOS and then clear out the password.

Just do a search on password in the title of messages in the X3 forums. Multiple descriptions of the solution turn up in the first page of results!

Thanks, using 1892 bois_beta worked. Got rid of the password and everything is well again. Now how do you boot straight to the dashboard without seeing the bois?

In live bios there is a setting to turn off (bios)where it auto starts.
I am tired it is there just disable it.
it does not turn off the bios it just makes it not star automatically.
if you ever need to get back to it. just hold white button down on boot up.

Hello,

I am really stuck. I flashed with off, on, off, off, off and it worked great until I changed the password. Thinking I screwed up the BIOS I reflashed with on, on, off, off, off the same BIOS version. This did not work so I start checking in about this and now know what it is. Holding a,b,x,y at startup does not work, are there any others switch settings that I can try?

Thanks
