Hi! Im new on this forum and this is my first post. :)

Erm.. Where should i start? I have a xbox v.1.4 and a xecuter 3 chip innstalled. It has worked very well for a long time now, until one day when it started to reboot 3 times and flash green and red. I've heard that this is a very known problem, that is called frag. This basically means that the chip can't load a valid bios. (Correct me if im wrong). When i flashed the chip for the first time, the switches where set to "off off off off".

After some help on Efnet on #xbins-help, I managed to flash the chip with the switch set to "on on off off". It worked very well, and then i thought that the problem were out of the way. But then one day, I tried to launch a game. The whole console "froze" and the screen went black. Nothing responded. I turned the box off and on, and then the fragging appeared again.

And then another day, i turned on my box again, and it suddenly worked! Yipee! But when i was to trying to launch a program the same problem happened again...

So.. I have resoldered the D0, hdd and lan wires and doubled checked them. I have also resoldered the whole lpc thing, but i still can't get rid off the problem!

Does someone know the answer to my problem?

Thanks.

most likely your soldering. Check D0 then when your positive that is soldered correctly without anything else bridged, check your lpc (pin header instal?), if anything looks iffy, or you see any bubbles or unshiny solder points, redo it.

not the soldering? does your flashbios works? if it does try reflashing the chip...

also does your ms bios (hold on power button) works? this might help locating your problem
