Can't get to the flash bios screen?

When I turn on the box it turns it self on and off twice and then the screen goes black. All the lights n the chip turn on. Anyone know what is wrong?

install type, wires/pinheader?

Version 1.1, used the solderless xapt3r. Settings are on, on , off, off, off.

Try the other 1mb bank: off.on.off.off.off

I have never done a solderless install but if you remove the chip from the xapt3r and power on you should have 3 blue leds and 1 red one. When you switch off and refit the chip then power up, I think you should have the 3 blue leds on the xapt3r and the red one should flash and go off and there should be two blue leds and one red led lit up on the x3 chip itself.

Can you do a long press and boot into the standard m$ dashboard?

NO, the power button flashes green and red.

Remove the chip and the xaptr and try to boot as a standard xbox to confirm there is no fault with the xbox.
If it works okay then the fault will be with the pin connections to the motherboard, try reinstalling again but make sure that the xaptr is sitting flat on the motherboard.
