hi guys I am having a small issue. I use to use a windows 7 laptop and never had issues but I switched to a wins 8 laptop and sold my old laptop and I am trying to setup all the normal modding tools but for some reason it wont let me install the usb pro v2 pio or the cki drivers. it says its missing the hash for this file is not present in the selected catalog file.:crazy:

i have same problem.I have searched and searched for the last 5 hours and still cant find the solution.I know there is one because someone kindly let me know that they new it. I am a noob asking noob questions.I hate myself.lol

A temporary solution could be to install virtual box and Win XP or Win 7 in it. There it could work. I'm not sure about the support for win 8.

Everything runs fine on my windows 7 pc and windows 8 laptop. Never had an issue installing the drivers for the USBpro and ck3I on windows 8, so cant really help you except letting you know that it can be done on w8
