Can't get Xecuter 2.6 to work

I got an Xecuter 2.6 modchip from a friend. My friend had already modded his xbox and another friend's xbox. He told me that everything was completely solderless and gave me a kit for it. From all of the tutorials I've seen, I've done everything right. I installed the solderless adapter (i think it's xapter, not xapt3r). I have the switch thing set up and connected to the modchip, which is connected to the adapter. When I turn it on, it just boots like normal. How do I get it to work? From the tutorials I've seen, I did it right. Were the tutorials missing a step? Is there something wrong with my chip?

Pics of what's inside my box:

If the XBox boots normally with the chip enabled, it means your D0 point isn't right. Also, what version Xbox do you have? If it is a 1.6 you need the 1.6 solderless adaptor.

My Xbox is a version 1.1. I've already checked the D0, it's perfect. The switch is connected to the chip and everything. There is no reason for it not to work.

I sort of got it to work....

I used a different xapter. Now when I turn my xbox on, the led will glow, but it will blink/beep 3 times and then the xbox will turn off. A second later, it will turn back on and blink 3 times again. It did that cycle about 3 times. Then, no visual appeares and the led around the eject button blinks green/red.
