LITEON 0225 Can't insert 0225 dvdkey?

I succesfully retrieved my cpu-key from my trinity with the DGX 1.0S (happy times!).

Now I loaded my cpu-key and flash dump into flash tool 0.97 and got the dvd-key for my Lite-On 0225 slim.

I broke my Lite-On by drilling too deep so the original pcb is dead.

So I bought one of these TX Replacement unlocked PCB's in order to replace it.

But JF is giving me a hard time.
I loaded the iXtreme LTPlus 3.0 firmware for 225 and manually entered all the serial info using the Advanced view.
Then I press "Spoof to target" and everything gets copied.
However when I manually try to Enter my dvd-key using the "Manual Spoof" button, it doesn't seem to save it.

Because when I reload my saved firmware as source the key remains: FFFFFFFFFFFFFFFF.

Any ideas?

1) Build freeboot image with nofcrt patch (it'll disable some checks) and write it to Xbox
2) spoof key and drive serial to any D4S firmware using my software
3) write the saved firmware to drive

If you want to play online, give me dvdkey and photos of drive stickers (PCB, serial and laser)

Use the lizfix and a no fcrt.bin patched nand. You will need to keep this box rgh in order for the drive to work. Or you can wait for the new replacement pcb and ltu.

In the case of a spelling error, I blame Tapatalk.

Thanks for the fast answer!
I still have a glitcher so I can use xeBuild with nofcrt but I wanted to play online :)

I can send you the dvdkey and photos of all serials except the pcb serial.
When I broke my original pcb, someone on the XBH forums offered some help so I send it to him.
However the forums have been down ever since.

So do you think MS will hate on me for not having the pcb serial?

you will not be able to play games from your dvd drive on a retail NAND

it will ONLY work with a nofcrt.bin patched RGH NAND

however, if you wait for LTU and get the new pcb, this will fix that problem

explain then
It's possible to recover almost 99% of the original firmware data (except 16 bytes).
Xbox checks about 70% data at start and you have good chance the bad data wont be checked. (by tests, 4-7 of 10 console starts are successful)
More original data you have - more stable console will be.
I tried to generate these last 16 bytes but no luck. TX called it "rootkey"

Sorry for the late response bro,

It sounds like music in my ears.
If you can recover the last 16bytes you will probably get shot for mocking up the LTU sales:p

Unfortunately it seems the XBH.org forums won't be back anytime soon, they went down just before the DGX/LTU announcement (smells fishy imo:p).
So I won't be able to recover the PCB serial.
But I'll make pictures of all other keys and PM you tonight.
Just put something for the pcb that looks correct, then I'll be your tester.

Thanks!

You need the actual serial, not one that looks ok.

You come to TX, for help with a non-tx issue and complain that 'someone' has caused xbh to go down ....

The same owner owns XBS and that went to sh*t, they just had people stepup and try and keep it alive.
