can't install dashboard

help... i can't install my dashboard... i made 2 disks... avalaunch and evox and neither one will boot... i also trid to ftp thru the x3 ftp and that failed too!!

any ideas guys?

My .02 is to spend the time fixing the FTP problem. Life is so much easier when you can move data without having to burn disc's. Are you using a cross over cable for a direct connection or a switch/router?

yep i have a crossover cable

the thing is that the 1.5 mobo that i have never came with a locked hard drive so i couldnt copy anything over to my brand new samsung 160gb hdd

can i fix this?

What disc's are you trying to use
I have found it best to use CD/rw to boot from or 4xDVD-r

why dont u lock ur hard drive using Flash Bios???????? Or is it that ur hdd does not support locking?
