Try formatting your sd card as FAT32

If you want update your switch to have exFAT support, I suggest reading this thread: https://team-xecuter.com/forums/threads/154987-How-to-Update-Firmware-on-a-Banned-Nintendo-Switch

Even if you switch is not banned, you can still follow this guide and get exFAT support installed.
I don't understand I have not accessed the internet I removed all the internet logins and backed up the nand before installing SX how can I be banned? I hope i'm not!

Which is the best format exfat or fat32?

That's your choice. They both work. Any time you connect your console to Nintendo's servers after modding you are risking a ban.

If you update via Nintendo, perform another nand backup right after the update is successful as your efuses will change.
It seems I cant access any custom firmware still reboots back to Nintendo when I select CFW

I've tried formatting to FAT32 and theirs no pauses it boots straight back into Nintendo immediately

It's all good I've managed to get it working, I was not going into the album section although when I figured this out I still had to format the sd to fat32 update the fw and this worked overall.

Thanks for the support!!

By "after modding" you mean a Nintendo Switch that has had .nsp files installed and .xci files game saves and data on internal memory? What if .nsp files have never been installed on a console and what if there's no .xci game saves and/or data on internal memory? Would this also count as a "modded" console?

Is this a serious question?

If you have launched any cfw on your console and played even 1 pirated game or ran one homebrew app..... then you have definitely modified your console.

This isn't rocket science. If you executed a "hack" then you broke the rules. You might get caught.... you might not.... This depends on the user.
I have only launched about 5 games or so on .xci format. I am a paying member of the Nintendo Switch online service. I have original games *not dumped* and play from cartridge without trouble, can get game updates directly from OFW. I have never installed/played a .nsp file on my system *a pirated one*, because I own several of this purchased from the eShop.

I was planing to delete all traces of any file associated with SX OS, or .xci files such as game saves and data files. Then, proceed to the update to the latest firmware on OFW...and then after that being okay.

But now I am concerned since you state everybody is in risk of getting banned when updating from OFW, even after doing all the steps I mentioned and without even played pirated .nsp files!
