Hey I just install and x3 chip and i installed evox with slayers auto installer. It gave me a bunch of apps and emulators with it, but I dont no how to put more apps on my xbox. I searched ur forum and read the guide. everytime i drag and drop my apps through ftp it works fine but when i hit launch apps from hard drive the new app doesent show up. i can transfer roms for my emulators just fine, but i dont no why i cant transfer apps. Im trying to install LinksBoxs if that helps and my evox version is +3935. And i use flash fxp if u need to no that too.

where are you putting these new apps? they need to be in a apps folder on the F or E partion or evox wont find it.

ok, the xbox can only boot something that has a default.xbe. wether it be a game a dashboard, or an app. if linksbox didn't come with a default.xbe, then the xbox won't recognize it and it won't work. look at your other apps you'll notice they all have default.xbe. by the way, what is linksbox? i've never heard of it.

from what i've read, you can only browse the web on an xbox if you're running linux. make sure you don't have a linux app. but if an application didn't come with a default.xbe, then there's no way you can get one. you can't just swap xbe's around. they're completly different files. that would be like changing the halo xbe in with xbox media center xbe. it wouldn't work.

i did a search for linksbox and it sounds like you're right. i've never heard of it. all i can suggest is download it again and make sure it has a default xbe. if its on xbins, get it from there.

question, on the xbox folder /apps, do you create a linksbox folder /apps/linksbox and have the default.xbe there?

Thanks
