cant make selection.

Hello,

Run in some trobles on my xbox



I soldered and install the xecuter3 on my xbox v1.6b. so far so good. (get to the flash bios screen).



Switches “on on off off off”



Now I try to flash my bios via http by selecting Enable Network Flashing,





NOW THE PROBLEM : I cant move to any selection in the option list(so I cant make the selection) .

It looks likes my game pad is frozen.

He works fine in the normal ms boot.



Please help.

Need to use a original M$ Controller, no mem card or anything else in the other ports. FlashBios has probs with after market controllers.

You can also use the DVD Playback Kit.

Try using the D pad (bottom left of the controller) instead of the analogue stick if you haven't already.

Still not working,

I think to try/buy DVD Playback Kit 30 euro again.

But still I wondering why my original M$ Controller is not working.

I hope thate the DVD Playback Kit will help.

If you have a USB port installed on your xbox you can try a keyboard to navigate. That has worked in some cases.

Also try using bank off on off off off instead of the one your on. a 1.6B needs flashbios 3.0.3 which is located in the second 1Mb bank.

Okey problem solved for me.

HOW? Just plugin the DVD Playback Kit and now i can select things.

Kost me 30 euro, but no wast off money (it is stilll a fine tool to have anyway).

Yeah, after finding no answers that worked, the DVD kit finally solved it for me too. Thanks for pointing that out. It only took 4 days to find a work around.
