Couldn't find anything on the forums so here we go. When i build my r-jtag image i get this error in J-runner:

******* WARNING: could not patch SMC reset limit!

I'm getting RROD if the console doesn't boot after 5 glitch cycles, i've read that the cause may be the SMC reset limit being unpatched. Can i just use JTAG build + AUD_CLAMP freebot image since it appears that no errors pop up during the build of that image? Or is there a way to patch the SMC manually or something?
I'm asking because i'm unable to RATE the console because if it RRODs the RATER just starts over : (

Thanks in advance :)

@BL4K3Y Probably its the photo because i double checked for continuity with the POST points on the top of the board. I'll take better pics tomorrow! All JTAG points checked, they're fine. The console boots btw, it's just that if it takes more than 5 glitches = RROD , but 80% of the times boots in 2-3. Thanks for taking the time to look at my crappy pictures XD
@15432 ok i'll try tomorrow that SMC, im off to sleep now :)

JRunner: JRunner v0.3 Beta 4 the latest as of today
MB: Jaster 16 on 2.0.15574.0

Hi I am facing similar issue however I doubt SMC Warning has anything to do with soldering or the glitch board as long as you have the clean NANDdummp. As while creating image glitch board or doesn't come into play at all. Well anyways my story is I have a clean NAND dump its Jasper 16 and when I create any other image RGH, RGH2 or JTAG I don't get this error only if I check the box R-JTAG on Jrunner I get this error. To my surprise however if I create an image with JTAG/Aud_clamp image and JTAG/Aud_clamp image with RJTAG checked I get exactly the same nand generated (I compared the resulting images). and to further surprise if I don't select RJTAG option I don't get this Warning message of SMC.

So I think there probably is a bug in the Jrunner. I've tested with similar results using a different Jasper 16 Nand on even a new clean installation of JRunner v0.3 Beta 4 on a different machine. (I can share my NAND image if some one is interested in investigating any further)

To fix the problem of RROD I build the NAND without RJTAG check box selected and had to remove the 1.2V jump. With 1.2v selected it boots faster but then I get the same issue as you have. However now sometimes after about 5-7 tries RJTAG stops glitching and I have to restart the box but it happens very very rarely. Usually boots in less then 4 glitches (about 80% times) and sometimes in 6-7. So yeah for the RROD you might have to play a little bit more with settings.

My current configuration is
2/7/8 Jumper ON
Aud_Clamp 1-3
3 way switch to top towards the on/off 2 way switch
jumper to 330 towards the on/off switch

I might not be able to take pics as I've already reassembled the box. The boot times are acceptable for me as long as it doesn't RROD and boots in less then 6-7 glitches.

Hope my findings will help someone
