Anyone got anything for me or am I screwed and relegated to paying to have this done?
the real problem here is that you don't know what you are doing

you are flashing 0251 fw to a 7xxx drive, which is what you need to do

0251 serial data != 7xxx serial data

in short, read to understand what you are doing before you get upset for lack of responses

I'm not getting upset with anyone but myself for not being able to get this sorted out. I've tried just about every combination of source and target bin files that seem to make sense and I'm stuck. My drive is showing up as 93450 in JF. So, I'm assuming that means it's not been changed to 02510 yet. I tried to update via USB to the latest dash it wouldn't do it. So in trying to flash it back to stock I set my Dummy.bin file as the source and then I tried using the orig-93450C.bin file in the Pre_13141\OFW folder as my target. Go through all the steps but the DVD Key isn't found. I try to update using the USB drive anyway hoping the flash worked and it won't update. I can only assume that means the flash didn't work. So then I thought maybe I should set the orig-02510C-1c000.bin file in the Post_13141\OFW folder as my target. I spoofed that and the messages in the log seem to indicate that wasn't right. When I tried to Lite On Erase I got a message saying "The Target f/w in does not appear to match the attache drive! Please make sure you have done DVDKey 32." That scares me because I don't want to do something that will render my drive bricked. If I'm misinterpreting anything I would greatly appreciate being corrected from someone that is much more familiar with this than I am. My kids use the Xbox all the time so I'm just trying to fix it for them.
