LITEON 0225 Can't read disc errors

My son keeps destroying his game discs and I am tired of buying the same game over and over.

We started loading the game disc on the xbox hard drive but he still seems to find a way to render the disc useless.

I have been researching and it appears there is (or was) a way to play a backup of your game disc. I think I need something to read the key from the dvd drive and a new PCB to prevent the existing PCB from being locked?

My drive is a DB-16D4S FW 0225.

you have 2 options :

1. play backup disc of your original online/offline - need to flash dvd drive with latest custom firmware using the kamikaze hack or you can buy a replacement pcb (other tools also required to do the flashing)

2. play backups of your original from hdd (RGH - reset glitch hack.. offline only.. system link works ) - need to install a glitch chip - also requires a few other pieces of hardware

he won't need the kamikaze hack if his 0225 turns out to be MXIC which is not likely .. if that is not the case, then the info I have provided will be the option available in the jungle flasher guide.

I can't seem to find the unlocked Team Xecuter board in stock anywhere.

If I get an unlocked pcb from eBay is it going to get locked my m$oft or banned online?

I have also seen some unlocked pcb (****** Freedom Board) not sure if it is a similar product.

Post a request in the correct section to see if anyone can sell one to you.

Any unlocked D4S PCB will work just fine.
