Can't read NAND

I've been trying to get my demon to read the NAND now for a while. Did read and write before install and all was fine. With Jrunner I'm getting manufacturer for code FF not found. With demon toolbox I get error: unknown NAND-flash device id 0xFF01 reported. Please verify correct installation. I've redid the NAND points at least 6 times.*

Re-Check Solder Points...
Re-Seat Cable...

Does the Blue light come on the EXT USB device?
If so... then re-seat the cable (Been posted alot that its an issue)

Definately re-check soldering... Trust me! You're about to get 10 people tell you both of these

For reading/writing, you only need the following soldered:

quick solder points
5vSB
GND
RB

Desolder everything else for now. we really need closer images of the quick solder points.

I noticed in your demon you had the switch at the end to PC, someone correct me if I'm wrong, but after install isn't that supposed to be switched over to XB?

N/M, I see you did switch them in the attachments on #6...

Correct.

Although the switch appears to be set correctly from what I can see :).

OP: just to clarify, you have the external switch set to read the console's NAND (LEDs OFF)?

Yes sir I did. I don't see any bridging on the qsb points but is it possible that could cause that error?
Easy way to check for bridges on the quick-solder points is just throwing a multimeter across pairs of pads next to said points, they're all labeled with the point in question. Helped me out with a bridge under ALE/CLE/WE from my hand shaking the iron about. If you get a closed circuit you know where the bridge is and can rectify it with a bit of desoldering braid.

Yes I did bl4k3y. I used the module to switch between nands and switched with the feature in jrunner/demon toolbox.

Wolf - I'll check as soon as I get home.

Ateoeight - I triple check switch and soldering before even plugged in power to console.

Ok so I checked for bridges and turns out I had 1. That's all fixed now. Tried reading NAND and was still getting same thing. Desoldered all wires except the ones Martin said and now I'm able to read from the demon but not the xbox.

Yup, now if you can read the Demon but not the Xbox you have a quick-solder with too little solder..break out the magnifying lens and LED keychain light!

Thanks a lot guys! Love this place. I redid every qsb point along with RB and got it. 25 seconds to read a NAND is unreal lol

Ok I got it running RGH and stock which is great. Only there's one prob. I accidentally wrote the .ecc to stock nand instead of demon. I wrote the original nand back to xbox nand and now I get red dot on boot. The system plays fine on stock just has that darn red dot.
