Can't read the update from the disc. Please help!

Hello all,
I have read through some posts and tried some things, but they haven't worked, so I have to ask for help.

When I turn on the xbox 360 s I get the following:

Can't read the update from the disc. Please reinsert the disc to continue update.

Status code:
3F4B-4099-2088-0F00-C000-0059

I have a stock 360s 4gb model, never hacked/modded. No HDD ever installed. One day the status code shows up. I tried every disc I have and it didn't work. Tried to download the 16537 update, put it on usb stick, but it doesn't work. What am I doing wrong, what else do I need to do?

Well, I downloaded the download update again and for some reason it worked this time. Put it on the usb drive and it finished the update. Strange. I had tried 3-4 times before this. Not sure why this time was different.
