Try re-flashing your bios with the 1959 and then copy the eeprom over to Admin. Then turn everything off in your network for two mins. Turn your cable modem on and wait for the cable light to be steady, then turn your router on and then turn the xbox on. Then check and see if all your mac id's match, so boot in to avalaunch or evo and then boot in to m$ dash with chip off and see if mac is same.

Should be.

Try setting static ip on eevrything and set dmz to that ip in your router.

This is just a shot in the dark, but on my router (D-Link DI-614+) it didn't matter what ports I fowarded -- it just refused to work. I had one of my computers set up to be on the DMZ so I could use remote desktop to it easily, and it turns out this was the problem. As soon as I took the computer off the DMZ, both mine and my roommates X-Box connected to live without a problem.

I also have a d-link 614 but i never had this kind of problem before. I have another xbox that has no problem getting on live. I don't have DMZ turned on it's always been off. I will set a static IP to the xbox. Anyone live in Orlando???

Make sure you upgrade the firmware for it (if you can't find it on the DLink site, I have every firmware version saved here on my computer and I can transfer through AIM/email if you need) and have DHCP turned on. Make it pull everything automatically for the X-Box (I had problems using an actual static IP for the X-Box).

My aim is mjw10120 and email is [email protected] if you need any firmware for the route.
