I don;t know if this has annything to do with my router because it passes the ip, dns, and oneother test it just doesen't see some xbox live configuration. I don't know what file i am missing if any. I assume all the ports that need to be open on my router are open. The only port that i know should be open is 80, my own designated remote desktop, and a couple other ports.

Ok so I updated my firmware and still no go. I just called Xbox for tech support and it was like talking to a robot reading script. Uh ya uh ya....is pretty much all he could say!! :evil: So the questions he he told me to press the Y button on the connect status screen which shows some kind of bios number and something like drive letters ranging from, W, X, Y, Z, L and P with some 8 bit numbers and letter next to them. He asked me hat was next to the Y: and put me on hold. I came back and he said a tier 2 tech would have to call me back. Whats up with this. Do these numbers indicate a possible hacked box. Come on some one from the Xecuter programming team should be able to answer this??????
I had the same problem in that it passed all the tests except the very last so I updated the firmware of my router which made no difference. I then opened up the following ports as directed on www.xbox.com/connect which is where the error tells you to go if you have that problem.

im banned from xbox live... you can easily check if you are when you go into network settings or something on the xbox live tab (i think i havnt checked in a while) and it will say cannot connect do you want to troubleshoot ... say yes.. and then it will be like "canott sign into xbl because modified hardware was found.."
This isn't 100% true, I know a few people who were banned for modified hardware and the message just said to contact tech support.C1RCA said:
