can't start chip to flash

I ordered a pre mod with X3 I know it's not 1.6 it's an older one prob. 1.1 or 1.2
I flashed it with the newest x3 bios and it worked fine. When loading in a dash I replaced the xboxdash.xbe with the evodash.xbe, oops I was thinking it was the same as x2.6 so I go to restart and get a ip to link up and put my backup back on but it just frags, I got it on once but it locked up, now it doest even try to turn blue. I tried the eject and power backup but it frags to? I can't get to the flashbios. so...what to do what to do?

first i would try all the bios banks possable then if u get one to load. to flash bios flash it you would then need to download slayers 2.6 final put it on a cd and install it to ur xbox

I tried every bank, I can't get anything to load. I have a 1.6 xbox with a x2.6 in it. how compatable is a xbox 1.6 with a x2.6 with an xbox 1.0-1.5 with a x3.0? I have a copy of evox on a boot cd that I could use if I got it started. but I can't.
