Cant use the nand-x

double check your ground (yellow) this can the most troublesome.

Personally, I would re-solder the yellow and the red wires. The yellow one looks a "little" dodgy and the red wire just looks like it sitting on the edge of the pad...

Really can't see the brown wire connection, might want to look at that one also??

Tried to reset the nandx with the small button?

My first nandx worked great for about 20 boxes or so then I went to do a slim and it started throwing errors during the dump. So thinking it was soldering I rechecked all the connections and the tested fine. So I tried to dump firmware again and got the same message you are getting. After posting a thread and talking to several people I decided to order a new nandx and it worked like a charm. Someone had mentioned if you power up the xbox with the nand x connected it could damage it. In my situation it showed in the device manager and would program the cr but would not dump a nand.
