Could it be the nand-x device that is dying on me? It's strange because I was able to dump two clean nand image and right after cant write ECC.

It isnt impossible but i doubt it, must be either your cable or your usb ports

I get that sort of sh*t if I power things off on the same circuit.

In your Nand
if its JR spi Programmer, theirs rst button the board, press and hold for 3sec and release so that JR software can re-initialize it again.

So I tested it on another computer, swaped the usb cable, use different usb ports and it does the same thing.

Have you double checked your soldering as it could be one of your wires has a bad connection, it could have been picking it up good then you moved the wires some and lost a connection, could you post some pics?
with a problem like this I would think pics of nand wires should be mandatory.

That almost confirms that it is soldering issue, why are you going off bottom of the mobo? And some closer pics would be nice.

It was indeed the solder but I never had that much trouble.

I knew it had to be, can't believe no one asked about it or asked for pics of soldering with that kind of problem, but glad you got is sorted.

You mean the problem was <gasp> ....soldering?

Never!
Lmao!!! Yes and why everyone always wants to blame the putter, usb cable, or a tx product is beyond me, when 90% of the time it's User error or bad soldering skills.

I have been able to write ecc, boot into xell, grab cpu key, create hack image, but cant write it. Same problem... Never had this much headache. is there any alternate point to read the nand?

I would check your soldering again more than likely you have a spot not soldered good enough.

Yes I resoldered again and again but damn it just doenst want to write. I had problem with those point all day long. Thats why I'm asking if there is any alternate point to read/write the nand.
