can not continue

I'm getting this error on J-runner when i try to write stock back to a corona i could not get to glitch, im stuck in limbo now because i cant write it back to stock.

using the guide im getting
Point 1 0V
Point 2 3v
Point 3 3v
Point 4 No reading
Point 5 3v
point 6 93kohms

I have de-soldered everything and cleaned it all up and still getting same readings as when have wires soldered.
Point 5 is not shorted with point beside, it might look that way.

The connections look ok.. Have you tried restarting your computer, running jrunner as an admin, checking continuity between the points on the board to the end of the nandx wires, stuff like that? Sometimes it canbe the littlest thing, sometimes its not so easy.

I tried rebooting and admin, even reinstalled the nand x drivers. Are the voltages not wrong for the points though.

Those readings are not correct. You have a problem somewhere.

A couple points are giving incorroect voltages, point 6 is giving an extremely high ohm reading.. Not too sure where the problem would be honestly, but it doesnt seem like its going to be fun to diagnose.

Would the alternate pointe ft3t10 perhaps being damaged cause these problems.

Does the console actually turn on at the moment? I don't expect it to boot, but it should power on. If it doesn't, you've damaged the southbridge.

Ya it turns on alright and the fan runs normal.

So the SPI on the southbridge has been damaged, especially if it's worked before.

You'll need to get it repaired.
So you think I have damaged the southbridge even though it does turn on.

Yes, the SPI function is separate from everything else.

If you've checked all solder points and you don't have any bridges etc, then these points go directly back to the southbridge itself. I've had plenty of consoles in which work fine but won't read/write to the console.

I will say that the voltages look like something's bridged between 2 and 3 which is possibly under or in the southbridge.

Ok that doesn't sound good, what the next step, anything I can try myself. Cheers for the great help as usual.

I wouldn't have thought so, unless you have a BGA workstation.
I got a reflow done off a fella who owed me a favour, point 3 is now reading 0v and the same readings off the other points.

So he didn't reball/replace the southbridge? Nothing more you can do until this has been done.
No he did not, how confident would you be its the southbridge as its borderline if its worth doing at the price it will cost me.

Why not ask the person who will be doing the repair.
One more thing, I tried an old xenon board and I was getting the same error with that, is it normal for a nand x to read a nand when there is nothing connected to it, should it not throw up a device not connected error. I think it could be shagged as well.
