CD burning?

ive tryed, nero, and Record now Max any other ones that are free that i could try none of those worked....

Nero works just fine ....

Use Good Media, from a known brand - record on 4x only and if possible do all this on DVD media.

What are you trying to record anyway ??

If your trying to burn a BIOS Cd, make sure theres a sizeable dummy file.

Next time try putting more detils in your post.

i have nero OEM suite and it says its burning (ISO) the bios but it really isnt its still known as a blank CD, i think i need drivers for it but i cant find them anyware

you dont need drivers at all, the bios is a very small file and the xbox wont be able to read just that, so you need to put a dummy file onto it. about 100 - 500mb works well as a dummy file, then just burn the bios using nero and make sure you have the correct setting on nero. then try the disk.

k i must need drivers because it says in nero that its burning a CD then i look at my burner and its not blinking write... explain that.... welll i got another program and burned the ISO with that but i used CD-R im gonna go buy some CD-RW's and i burned xbox.iso and when i put it back in my computer it said that bios.bin and dummy.bin are on the CD is this correct?

erm that sounds about right, what program was that? and have you tried it in the xbox yet?

yea it said waiting on drive i think it might be because its a CD-R

k im going to stapels to get some DVD-RW and CD-RW gonna try sum of that

if you have networking at home, save your money and do http flash. No cd to burn and easy to do.

i dont belive what i have is a cross over(eathernet plug in) and i dont have router,

Are you sure you are making it an XISO before burning it? Use a program like Qwix.
