a friend of mine ****ed his xbox up. he has a chameleon but for some reason put flashbios 3.0.3 he gave me his xbox cause he also ****ed his regular ms bios up too. anyway i've got it now and i been trying to flash it but i always get a flash halted no matter what. im trying to put a hacked bios on there but it won't do it. i've tried to change the names of the bin and stuff and i tried different bio's but nothing works. can anyone help me?

You could try a chameleon support area on another board (eg www.xbox-scene.com) - not an X3 support area on the Xecuter board ...

well its their software i figured someone on this board would have an idea since it is a x3 board.

I used to own a Chameleon (before I really got into modding).
it has 4 x 256k banks - have you tried booting from all 4 - there's a protected bank with their version of Cromwell on it.
Be aware, the reason you're getting halt messages is that the Xecuter flashBIOS (I believe) only caters for a certain amount of chipsets - the chameleon not being one of them.
As advised, try the Chameleon forum on Xbox-scene.com
