Hi, i have a problem.

I have a xbox slim with broken 1071. I retrieved the key via rgh i have only the key!

I have another dvd reader that is 0401, I saved all, dummy, inquiry, identify, key.

Now I want to put the firmware 1071, with the key in 0401 as I do?

To the OP you can do exactly what you are asking. Just load up the 1071 lt+3.0 spoof your key and flash the 0401 drive with the hacked firmware. Those particular lite-ons are crossflashable. Make sure you unlock the 0401 drive to flash it and that will depend on what chip is in it, mxic or winbond, which will require drilling the chip on a winbond or a simple trace cut and probe with the mxic. Jungleflasher will explain how to do it. Also utmad he can go online with it retail just fine. The 0225, 0401 and 1071 can be crossflashed with no worries.

You are missing the point.

He doesn't have the data to answer fcrt.bin checks.

The console are not rgh I just change the dvd.
I drilled the pcb, i can read and write the original firmware but I can't change the key. When i try pass the first stage anche second stage failed.

if i try to write another firmware i read this
Authorisation Failed!
Restore Verify Failed!

why don't write the key?

If you have a dummy of the original drive, why didn't you say so?
In your original post, you said you only had the DVD key.

Anyway, just load the dummy as source, let JF autoload, then write to your new pcb.

this original drive are in the other console.

The drive of console are broken and i keep one in the another console.

With rgh i recovered dvd key but when i try to write in this pcb i receive an error.

i tried with "write Key" in JF but pass stage 1 and failed on stage 2

i use a laptop with x360usb and i think is this the problem.

if i write original dummy or lt3.0 with original key i don't have a problem.

when i try to write a new key it doesn't work

We are back to square one.

You need LTU1 PCB, or to wait for LTU2 for D4S drives.

What you are trying to do is impossible. You do NOT have the random bytes for challenge 24.

Manually insert the writekey sector from 9504 fw into your desired fw. Writekey, then use that fw with your dvd key to build the fw you want.

It still won't work in the xbox without rgh and a nofcrt.bin patched kernel.
