Change X3 switch panel LED Colour?

Is it possible to swap the colors for the leds on the standard switch panel, it would be cool if i could have it so the SP was Red when the chip was on, to match the colour of the power light....

i have a feeling its only a simple case of cutting the right wires then swiitching the order, and patching it back together.....

I've often considered this, but I dont really care too much as I'll be installing an X3CP as soon as they are available in stores!

yes you can though so far the only way found is by switching the leds

It's worth the extra ££'s just so I don't have to bother modding my xbox case to fit the xlcd... far too lazy!

a while back i really just wanted to buy a new case, add another hdd or two and just sutom fit my own xlcd/pro switch but with the cp and their multiple hdd solution coming out sometime in the coming months i won't need to.

i dont think its a case an they havent given much info on it yet. Maybe its like a totally new top cover thats little larger that normally to fit an extra two hdd's in there but we all know whatever they decide, it won't be as sh*tty looking as the xtender.

The x3 pro switch is just a switch right? Not a new chip?
And what are the uses for a USB port? Could I plug a mouse in through that?
Doesn't the LCD cover 3rd and 4th player controller slots?

try searching the news archives for "Control Panel" and you'll see the pictures of the cp. The slots are barely under the lcd so they're not cut off. usb ports can be used in linux and in apps/dash's that can be used with usb keyboard and or mouse. the x3 pro switch is just a new switch design that looks cooler.

my personal opinion. the pro switch looks like ass...and the cp well im not too impressed by it either they could have done a mutch better job...for a while i had the stock x3 switch disconnected but then i decided to connect it bu i stuck it to the back where its pretty mutch out of site. and as for the lcd...I have yet to see a use for it that would warrent me buying it. just my two cents...
