Changed password in X3 help please!!!

I recently purchased a xecuter 3ce mod with soderless adapter for my 1.4v Xboxthe bios "upgrade"went ok via FTP installed the 3.0.3 X3 bios.
Since the The slayers auto installer 2.6 went great.I was able to do everything.
Now my problem is I cant restart my xbox to the dash or bios.The bios was always loading on boot up or restart.but the only thing that I can think of that I changed was the fact I enabled the password protection on the bios feature.is there a way for me to access that part of it so I can enter in the new password(eg. controller button sequence,xbox power/eject button sequence,or what do I need to do to gane controll of my bos again.everything else loads and playes fine on the box but just cant get to dash or bios screen anymore.

power up xbox with power and eject at same time you should get backup bios now flash the second 1mb bank with bios X3 1892 beta then disable the password or set chip to f /restore you may have to reflash the chip with X3 bios again but this time DO NOT TOUCH THE PASSWORD i had this troble with my X3 and had to send it to get hot swap

it was a V1.6 and had flashbios 3.0.3 that will not work on V1.6 thats why i had to get it hot swaped

Thanks .I am having a hell of a time trying to find an older version of x3 though,ben up all night tryin to find it .I foung a version 1892 beta but when unrared it is in a bin format and I cant convert to iso with the disks I have. So any ideas would be helpfull.

Ok i think I found the correct bios,Now how do I go about flashing the Xbox when it is a t the "Rox My Box" load screen, If anyone has any instructions or a known tutorial I would be greatly appreciated.

Ok I just got back from Xbins and found both 1892 beta and the original x3 that I had on my system.Now what I am left with after unraring them is the bin files .my next question would be ,How to I flash the bios when Im stuck on the load screen.The discs I have will no boot in the xbox.so can someone PLEASSEEEE!!! before I loose my mind tell me how to do so.sorry bout all the reposts but I am totaly about to loose. Been up for hours on end just to find the right bios types.So here I am waiting for help.please

I would go back to xbins, and get bios 1959. There is a file in it called x3 erase. It is an xbe file. Make an iso of it with a 100mb dummy and boot this in your xbox. Erase what is on there ( I believe there are directions or a prompt but don't remember) and put bios 3294 on as your bios. Then don't ever mess with a password again.

The only thing is I cant boot with a disc for some reason...is there a meathod to do it through ftp or http...I am able to load the slayers auto installer cd with the system setiings but cannot go any further than that

1. ok you should still have you backup bios which you boot by holding power and eject at same time. then you will be able to flash the second 1Mb bank with the old bios.
If you can ftp your xbox ( run the slayer dvd on bootup ) put the bios and flashX3 plus X3 erase into your xbox.
Make a folder in c/ folder of xbox call it "bios" put the old/new bios plus flashbios3.0.1 and flashbios3.0.3 in it
Then put your flashx3 and X3 erase into your apps folder this will help if this dose not work in the next bit of help at the bottom.
Now try your backup bios power eject once it starts then pick flash bios from harddrive flash it to the bank that has not got x3 bios on it you must change your swichers to second 1Mb bank
once you have flashed the bios then run that bios at startup hold down white button at startup to get bios dash find disable password try that see if you get past rox my box if that does not work start bios dash again try X3erase.

if this dose not work try this.

2. ok now you will have to find auto installer dulux dvd place that dvd in to the tray reboot xbox find boot to dash on dvd once you find and it boots your dash ftp X3 erase plus flashX3 to your apps now reboot xbox with AID in tray find boot to dash once it has booted to you tray run the app you wish to use

Ok.I installed cuteftp and I also found quix,Which one is better,I am able to FTP to the xbox but what steps do I take to flash the bios with the old beta to access the password entry screen, once I enter the password and enter my bios how do I go about updating it to the newer bios. also just letting you know I have a executer solderless adapter with the executer 3 ce I installed using slayer autoinstaller and when I did that ORIGINALLY I was able to boot to bios and then select to boot to dash or disable the bios and run the ms dash

Ok...I got all the need files that you mentioned,I mounted them into the folders as mentioned as well as created a folder named bios and placed the other folders in the apps section. now this is going to sound stupid as hell...and makes me think I shouldve never started this project or never have touched the option to change password.But we all were new to the Xbox scene at one point.So here is my question I read all over the forum about flashing or reflashing w/ an older bios to get the prompt for passord entry.WHAT does that mean,how do i go about doing that?details on how to do that would help me. I get the concept but do not know where to start.My kids are really getting to hate me for keeping them from there games as well as me being able to play as well.anyones help here would be appreciated Greatly

ok once again power up xbox with POWER AND EJECT BUTTONS TOO AT SAME TIME THIS IS YOUR BACKUP BIOS PUT BEFORE YOU START THAT FTP A FOLDER WITH THE BIOS TO YOUR XBOX C/ FOLDER WITH THE TWO BIOS IN IT THEN START YOUR BACKUP BIOS BY POWER AND EJECT BUTTON AT SAME TIME YOU SHOULD SEE THE BACKUP BIOS WITH A LIST OF HOW YOU WISH TO FLASH YOU BIOS SET YOUR SWICTHERS TO THE SECOND 1Mb BANK PICK FLASH FROM HARDDRIVE FIND THE BIOS FOLDER WHERE YOU BUT THE BIOS NEW AND OLD THEN FLASH THE CHIP ONCE YOU HAVE DONE THAT RESTART XBOX WITH YOUR FINGER ON THE WHITE BUTTON TILL YOU SEE THE BIOS DASH FIND THE PASSWORD AND DISABLE IT THAT WAY OR SET YOUR x3 CHIP TO STANDED FACTOY DEFAILT THEN YOU CAN FLASH THE FRIST 1Mb BANK BY THE CHIP OR BY RESTARTING YOUR XBOX WITH POWER AND EJECT BUTTON AT SAME TIME AND FLASH THE NEW BIOS THAT WAY OFF YOUR HARD DRIVE

I understand that...The only thing is the boot to backup bios (power and eject button) nothing happens.disk drive ejects and screen comes up and freezes on the ROX MY BOX phrase. so I think I follow you but I still cant access that part of being able to flash or reflash for that matter. also I have no switches on my xecuter 3 ce modchip with the solderless adapter just the chip and just the adapter was put in

ok keep trying power eject it will work are you 100% you have a v1.4 xbox as if you have av1.6 it may not work as i had this problem with my 1.6 but after about 30 pushers i got it to work

I know .....aI have been reading but all the post are the same as mine,the only problem I am having is booting up on the default bios/backup bios screen.I appreciate all the help you have done for me so far I will let you know how it goes tomorrow been up all day and night trying to get this to work

I am sure its a v1.4. I did a check on it and also it told me in the system info that it was as well

have you check the other banks on chip get the swichers guide and check all your banks on the chip you may have flashbios on other bank if the X3 bios was on bank 1 {1234} you may have it on 567 or 8 you will only have to check the 256k bank size of chip backup bios is only 256k in size If i find guide i will post it try from bank 8 down to 5 you will have to restart your Xbox after you set swichers if you find flashbios on a bank just set your swichers to bank one ( on on off off off 0) check that the bottom swicht is set to the off when flashing this is the flash protect will not let you flash chip if turned on.and flash off harddrive.

ps when you put the bios and the apps you do not have to make them in to iso file just leave bios as a bin file and the app as a folder of your pc the xbox only read iso file off dvd drive

just check bank 8 to 5 on 256k settings
restart xbox after setting switches
if it fags just change switch to the next settings if this dose not work set switchers back to x3 bios

ok just got and brain wave are you on a fast internet service if so go to #xbins and download auto installer dulux then burn that to a dvd then run that find jump to dash click on that now find X3 erase and try that it may work

Ok just reread your forum again you do not have swichers we both need sleep

you may have to get your hands on to a switch for the X3 from a modchip site try the X3 home page you may find a retailer with switchers forsale i know you can get them in oz or you can try the auto installer deluxs dvd it will let you get to you dash and you will be able to use X3 erase to see if that work i counld not get my flash bios to comeup as well as i had a v1.6 xbox which the flashbios 3.0.3 will not work on that xbox so had to send it away and the install had to hotswap it dont think he new what he was doing but wile it was gone i found this site and found out all i know so when my xbox got back i flash it with the flashbios 3.0.1 that works with V1.6 and now when i start xbox with power eject button it works all the time.

before i sent it i did not know about x3 erase or flashing with old bios i spent sleepless nites to
