changed the date now frag???

well i never seen this one before. I was in the x3 screen and decided i'd change the date so i procede to change it to the correct date and fine. go back to the main x3 screen and then the right top hand corner starts switching from "dip bank 1-4 to select dip bank 1-8 ect..ect" then freezes. I turn off the xbox and power it up again and get a solid red light on the panel with a solid blue light for the hdd. Plus i get frag. I assume this has something with the bank select since it starting action up. I have always had the switches on 1,2 on and 3,4,5 off. with the 1959 bios. Never had this problem before any idea's

what happens when you boot to the backup bank by pressing power and eject at the same time?

it won't boot to backup i just get frag. I can boot with chip disabled. I just find it weird how once i changed the date it started acting up

what's the date in your MS dash say?

I don't know. I can't check either because i never locked my hdd so when i load with chip disabled i get the 05 error.

that solid blue hard drive LED is odd--try the hard drive in another xbox and see if it works.

I just tried the original hdd and it fragged there too so i think it must be a soldering connection thats bad
