Changing Xecuter 3 for CE

Hi,

My x3 is failing, most of the traces on the back have burned through (Its basically dead ). I'm going to replace the chip with a ce, it was installed using a wire install (Its not the reason the chip burned btw) Now looking at the 2 pictures of the old x3 vs the new x3 ce, I see that the height of the plug where the wires from the lpc plug in are different heights. Does this mean I need to redo the wire install?

I changed from 3 to CE due to a burnt chip, got a bit complacent with forgetting to insulate it properly, didn't need to redo the wire install when I put the CE in
