Hey dude i'm from Bristol and i'm pretty much looking to get my 360 modded.
I've been hearing mixed things about xbox live.
Some are saying it's safe, while others are saying it ain't.
I spend 99% of my playing time online, so i don't want to get banned. So is it safe?
Also could you mail me your number and where abouts in Bristol your from, better yet, Email me - [email protected]

I won't have the funds for it, till i come back from Glastonbury (28th June).

Hi Luke,

To be perfectly honest there is never a 100% guarantee against bans, but as long as you take sensible precautions, like always using the latest firmware available, only ever playing correctly stealthed games (always check images with XBGX360), and not playing games too early before the official release date, you will be as safe from a ban as it's possible to be.

There haven't been any bans for a while when taking these precautions, but you can never say never.

Hi DreXeL_UK, ive got a samsung ms25 already flashed with 1.4 and a benq with normal firmware, would u be able to flash them both. what would the price be on postage for 2 drives

Hi Kontakt,

Yes I can flash both your drives, no problem.

I usually charge a flat rate of £5 per drive for return postage, (of course this is negotiable if sending a large amount of drives). In your case it would be £5 per drive, sent by Special Delivey.

So total for both drives including return postage would be £40.

Hey, i live in bristol and need my rrod fixed and maybe flashing. problem is recently on the news i heard that thing about microsoft banning people with modded consoles, will the flashing you do be detectable by microsoft?

Hi, yes it's true that MS are banning modified consoles. Not all have been banned, but a large majority have. The fact of the matter is you take the risk of getting a ban if you connect a modified console to live, any modder that tells you different is lying. C4E (the developer of the firmware) is working on a new version that he says will be undetectable, so if you want to lessen the risk of a ban you might want to wait until it's released.

There is no ETA on this new firmware as yet.
