Hey Im currently looking for the cheapest availible (sp?) price for a Xecuter 3 CE modchip. Where can I find it? Another question Im wondering is that if a 120GB hard drive is enough or should i get a 160GB one? Im gonna be doing few backups (as i have a DVD+R burner) but i will be putting on some ROMs/Emulators, Applications and Linux. Do you think 120GB will be enough? Thanks for the help.

yea 120gb should be sufficient...

i got a 200gb myself, i got like 12 games on the hd + nes/snes/gb romsets and i got 120gb free hehe

about the price
just buy one from an official xecuter reseller (check main page on the left somewhere, they're listed), the prices should be more or less the same
if you're from europe, i personally suggest mrmodchips.com

Can't offer much help on pricing, other than 2 tell you to shop arround the places listed on the left side of the main page. As for HDD size, it all depends on how much stuff you are going to store. I have a 200 G in mine to store my backed up games, emulators. As for movies and music, I use XBMC and it can see shared drives on my network, so I keep IMG files there and not on the xbox. I have all of my games and still have well over 100 Gig free. I would go for the extra room of a 200 as they are not all that much more money. I have seen them go for arround 89 usd.

It could be in Europe (if it accepts Maestro cards then yes yes) or in USA. I would prefer the first option.

So based on what i plan to do with my XBox should i get the 120 or 160 (200 is a overkill which i would only buy for my PC)

Does anyone know a store that accepts the debit card of Maestro? It would be a lifesaver and thats the only card I have.

Ok thanks for all the stores but Id like to finalize the choosing between a 120GB and a 160GB hard drive. Im gonna be doing this:

-Linux (possible Windows too)
-Homemade games will be ran off the HD
-Game saves
-A few Xbox games (not much seeing as i have a DVD burner)
-ROMs and Emulation

Sorry bout all the "n00b!1!11!!" questions. I just dont wanna spend my money and not be completely satisfied.

riahc3, i'd go for a 200gb though.. the price difference is so small, and you get so much more out of it

you never know when those extra few gigs might come in handy eh

and i have a dvd buner too for my backups, still, it's so much easier to just copy the ones you play the most to your hdd. maybe it's just me being lazy, but it saves me a lot of time :p

I'd say the 160. It is much easier to have them on the HD. No need to swap disks or anything. Just load up your dash, go into the games section and choose your game. I've used about 100GB of my 160 and that's about 20 games, a few apps, a bunch of roms and a few movies. I still have a lot more that I need to put on. And I deleted Linux for some reason...but I'm putting that back on and that'll take up a fair bit of space.

The 160 GB should be enough, but if you want to load every game and CD you have just go with the 200 GB and you should be safe.

The price difference between a 160 -> 200Gb HDD, or 200 -> 250, etc (ie one size up) is generally only about $20. If you can scrape together the extra money, it is always better to go with more storage than you think you'll need.
