Hey guys!

I'm buying an Xbox on monday and obviously I want to mod it.
I'll most likely be getting the 1.6b version, so I'd like to know a couple of things before I finally decide what to do.

Q1:
Can I do a software/TSOP/007... mod on the v1.6b?

Q2:
Why is a modchip (like the X3) way better than doing some software mod?

Q3:
What can I do with the X3 that I can't with another modchip or software mod?

That's the questions for now...
Perhaps you should know that I'll either be modding my box using some software/exploit trick (if it's possible), or with the X3 modchip. I won't be using cheaper modchips like the "Aladdin XT", so it's either X3 or software hax.

Data transfer from 60gb OEM to 120gb OEM

is hddhackr only for WD's? Everything regarding xplorer360 or data transfer I have found involves using a non-OEM HD like the WD. How do I transfer from OEM to OEM without data transfer kit???

Re: Data transfer from 60gb OEM to 120gb OEM

you can download the data transfer disc, and use a generic usb to sata
adapter, but you have to dis-assemble the drive to use the adapter.
