True, however, if you can flash a drive with your mobo's sata chipset, there is really no reason to buy the x360pro as you already have the ability to connect to the drive via sata. If your mobo does not have the ability to detect the drive, then I recommend to buy the x360pro usb, don't buy the VIA PCI card, it will only work in a desktop and it still has some issues. If you are going to buy anything for the sata part, get only the x360usb pro as it will work on any PC/Laptop and you will not have to disable the Windows Driver Enforcement, no more portio issues, plus, it flashes much faster.
Time does equal money, think of it this way;
How long does it take you to power on an xbox, update the dash, then open it up, remove the drive and read the firmware (gives an extra 30 secs for liteon), then flash the drive and put it back together...
It takes me (liteon) about 6 minutes, if that. So lets say you charge $20 for this, thats 6 minutes of work for $20... That's $120/hour, who gets paid that much....
Bottom line, get the probe, get a good power supply, if your sata cannot detect the drive, get a xbox360 usb pro.
You will make that money back easily.
